Colombo

Sri Lanka's capital up to recent times, Colombo, is a fascinating city, not only for a comfortable blend of east and west, but also for a cozy mixture of the past and present. It is still the commercial centre of the country and has been a flourishing sea port for centuries.

Kandy

Yala

Yala National Park (west) or Ruhuna National Park is one of the best places in the country to see Elephants, Leopards and other game. The park varies from open parkland to dense jungle on the plains, scrubland with rocky outcrops and several streams, lakes and lagoons.  The picturesque ocean frontage to the east has wide beaches and high sand dunes while to the north is the Lahugala Elephant Sanctuary.

Wilapatu

Wilpattu is one of the oldest National Parks in Sri Lanka. Located on the northwest coast lowland dry zone of Sri Lanka. The park lies within the north-central and north-western providences. The area of the park is 131000 hectares. The unique feature of this park is the existence of "Willus" (Natural lakes).

Galle

Galle or 'Gaalla' was the old world's romantic city which owed its glory to its natural harbour. This picturesque seaside resort was the centre of trade in olden days, because of its strategic position. Sailing vessels laden with merchandise from the Western countries of Egypt, Persia, Arabia and on the Eastern side - China, Malaysia and Singapore converged on it.
