ITINERARY - DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1 -2 : MUMBAI Upon arrival at the International airport you are met by an India Safaris & Tours representative and transferred to the hotel and assisted with check in formalities Activities include a guided visit of the city and the Elephanta caves located on an island. Two overnights at a city hotel in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. DAY 3 : COCHIN Morning on time transfer to the domestic airport to board your scheduled flight to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin you are met at the airport and transferred to a city hotel. Activities include a guided tour of the city visiting of St. Francis church, the Dutch Palace Museum, the Jewish synagogue and Fort Cochin, visiting the water with views of the Chinese fishing nets. End the day with a sunset harbour cruise. One overnight at a city hotel in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. DAY 4 : BACKWATERS After breakfast you will be assisted to your road transfer to Alleppy.At Alleppy embark on a houseboat for a cruise on the backwaters. Overnight will be in a houseboat. Activities include enjoying and observing the fascinating life on and off the backwaters, with all meals served on board. One overnight in a houseboat in a twin share room with ensuite facilities.Your stay includes all meals. DAY 5-6: MARARIKULAM After breakfast disembark from the houseboat at Alleppy .You will be assisted to your road transfer to Mararikulam and transferred to a beach resort. DAY 7-8 : THEKKADDY Morning after breakfast you are driven to Thekkady and transferred to a resort. Activities include a game viewing session by motor launch on Lake Periyar and a visit to the spice plantations. Two overnights at a town hotel in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. DAY 9 : MADURAI After an early breakfast you are driven to Madurai . On arrival you are transferred to a city hotel. Activities include guided visit to the Meenakshi temple to see the every ceremony. One overnight at a city hotel in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. DAY 10 - 11 : COVELONG Morning on time transfer to the airport to board the scheduled domestic flight to Chennai. On arrival at Chennai you are met at the airport and driven to Covelong and assisted with check in formalities at a beach hotel/resort. Activities include a guided sightseeing tour of the shore temples. Two overnights at city hotel in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. DAY 12 : DEPART CHENNAI On time transfer to the International airport at Chennai for your flight back home. Our services end at 12 noon today.
