The tour begins from the capital of one of the largest democracy of the world, New Delhi. A city with a history dating back to thousands of years and rich with tales of invasions, prosperity, colonization and democracy. The two days in New Delhi we explore the six cities on which the seventh city New Delhi has been laid out on. The tour of the city would take you from the modern day to the medieval years of Turkish invasions to the era of the Mughals and the British Raj. From here the tour backtracks in history to Agra the years of the greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar and the city where Emperor Shah Jahan engraved his immortal love for his Empress in marble, the Taj Mahal. We next head to the capital of a mosaic of feudal kingdoms, Jaipur. Named the "Pink City" and planned in a grid system with wide avenues, the city's colorful bazaars, the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi hued costumes have a timeless appeal. A visit to the city palace and the beautiful Amber palace gives insight to the opulence of Jaipur's royal past. In the two days we visit the colorful bazaars and get a glimpse of the flourishing ornament industry, jewelry being an integral part of the culture.
