New Delhi also, houses many colonial architectural feats which are not to be missed. A few hours drive takes you to Agra, famed as the city of the Taj Mahal. While in Agra also visit the impressive Agra Fort. The 16th century Mughal monument built of red sand stone comprises of many fairy tale palaces, such as the Jahangir palace and the Khas Mahal and audience halls such as the Diwan-i-Khas and two very beautiful mosques. The tour next takes you to the vibrant city of Jaipur, the highlight of your stay here is a visit to the classic and romantic fort palace with a magnificent aura - the Amber fort palace. Apart from royalty the tour also allows you to take a glimpse of rural India at Nimaj. Your next destination is the city of Jodhpur which is dominated by the impressive Mehrangarh Fort. Enroute to Udaipur visit the intricately carved Jain temple complex at Ranakapur.
