Panna National Park spread over 542 sq.km was carved out of the hunting reserves of the erstwhile princely states. It is predominantly an open forest, offering great opportunity to see the tiger and other mammals The Park is home to about 30 - 35 Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Jungle Cats, Sloth Bears, Hyaenas etc.. In Ken River lodge there are 10 Deluxe Huts with attached concrete bathrooms with w/c, hot and cold water, dressing room and sit out. Ten cottage rooms with modern bathrooms, living room, kitchen and open deck. The tents and cottages are spread out in 30 acres of mixed jungle in undulating terrain, giving a jungle experience which few in the country can parallel. The Ken river runs for almost a mile with the property. The Lodge also boasts of a 1500 sq.ft. Machaan where the meals are served. The Machaan popularly know as the Tree House overlooks the Ken river and boasts of multi-cuisine buffet meals. Your host at the property , is Shyamendra and his wife (promoters) with their team of well trained local staff, naturalist & boatmen who together will make your stay a memorable one.
