The hotel has two wings: THE WINDAMERE and LITTLE WINDAMERE. There are 37 suites and bedrooms in all. The Windamere wing is made up of ADA VILLA and THE ANNEXE. It appeals to the sense of life as it was lived in the days of the Raj. The rooms are spacious with chintzy furnishings, and coal fires glow in the hearth at night. There are no televisions or telephones in the main house called Ada Villa. Telephone connections are provided in the Annexe only upon special request. The Little Windamere wing appeals to those guests who wish to keep in touch with modern life even while enjoying the atmosphere and amenities of a bygone age. ANNANDALE HOUSE and OBSERVATORY HOUSE, residential properties, are part of Little Windamere, as is THE SNUGGERY which houses the DHR Club. Both Annandale House and Observatory House are equipped with televisions and telephones. All rooms have fireplaces. The furnishings are bright, cheerful and welcoming. The hotel has a main dining room which seats up to 80 people and three smaller rooms that can each seat up to 12 people for intimate dining. The cuisine is Continental, Indian, Nepalese and Tibetan. The Windamere Conference Centre can host conferences of up to 40 people.
