ITINERARY - DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1-3 : CALCUTTA Upon arrival at Calcutta International airport you are met and transferred to the city hotel and assisted with check-in formalities. Activities include guided visit of the city and temples. A visit to the Ramakrishna Mission - Belur Matt to witness the evening aarti ceremony. Three overnights at a city hotel.Accommodation is in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. Day 4-6 : VARANASI Morning transfer to the railway station to board the scheduled train to Varanasi. Reach Varanasi by late evening, you are met at the railway station and transferred to the city hotel. Activities include visit to the temples and the ghats and an early morning boat ride on the holy river Ganges to view the morning rituals. Also featured is an excursion to the nearby Buddhist pilgrimage site, Sarnath. Day 7 -8 : DELHI Afternoon transfer to the airport to board your scheduled flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you are met at the airport and transferred to the city hotel, where you are assisted with check-in formalities. Activities include a guided tour of Old & New of Delhi which would include visits to the Akshardham and the Bahai temple constructed in a shape of a giant lotus. Day 9-11 : ANANDA IN THE HIMALAYAS Early morning transfer to the railway station to board your scheduled train to Haridwar. On arrival at Haridwar you are met at the station and driven to Ananada in the Himalayas. Activities include visit to Rishikesh and Haridwar to attend the aarti ceremony. Three overnights at the Ananda in the Himalayas.Accommodation is in a twin bedded room with ensuite facilities.Your stay is on bed & breakfast. Day 12 : DELHI On time transfer to Haridwar railway station to board the scheduled train to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you are met at the railway station and transferred to the city hotel where you are assisted with check-in formalities. No activities scheduled for today.
