About Bhutan

The Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan is comparable to Switzerland both in its size and topography. The Kingdom is peopled sparsely by three main ethnic groups - the Sharchopas, the Ngalogpas, and the Lhotshampas. The Druka Kagyupa school of Mahayana Buddhism provides the essence of a rich culture and a fascinating history.
